I accidentally found out what my sister bought for me. Her, my dad, and I share the same Best Buy Reward Zone card. I forgot to bring it along with me on Saturday when I went there. The cashier said I could just enter my receipt number online and add the points.
It shows a list of purchases "pending" for this month: when I bought the X-Files box, then when I did Christmas shopping two weeks ago, but then there was another purchase listed. I checked it and it said "Family Feud DVD Game." As soon as I saw it, I remembered my sister said she went there a few days ago and bought me something. HAHA!
I was always good at guessing as a kid. I knew the exact shape of boxes of clothes from JC Penney or Bergner's. I could tell the shape of the boxes for Super Nintendo games, then later dvd's and cd's. A few times I even pulled the corner flap off gently, peeked, and then resealed it. Double HAHA!

Oh Doggett...you and your tricks!

Oh yeah, I totally got good and unwrapping/rewrapping gifts when I was a kid. I would get up in the middle of the night and go and figure out what everything was, or usually, just re-figuring out what everything was compared to all the gifts I had already found when digging through my parents closet.
And yeah, now that they're asleep, I went and looked in the box, and its most definately the XF set (Hey! At least I didn't dig in any other boxes).

I was always just good at unwrapping :giggle:

Hmm, now why do I find that NOT so hard to believe? :halo: LOL!
Were you a naughty girl, too, and always peeking in closets and under beds before Christmas?

All my presents has tiny finger sized holes poked through the wrapping. I wonder who did that...

Heh, heh! Naughty, little SBF! Careful Santa doesn't see you. ;)

My friend cracked me up when we were younger. We used to collect WWF Bonecrushers. They were 6 in rubber wrestlers.
Well, he found his parents hiding place and looked for all the boxes shaped like these figures. He would pull the to/from label off and rip the paper underneath to see which wrestler is was, and then tape the label back on lol. At 14 I thought this was genius.

Yes Bug! Mi hermana & I were always great at finding our presents, when it was just us & our dad. The step-monster was much better at keeping things a secret ;) Usually our dad just had them stacked in the closet, and since he was at work most of the time, we had plenty of chances to look.
The best year was the year I found a BIG red dinosaur in the closet - a "brontosaurus" about the same size as I was. I was all a giggle when Xmas finally came & I was handed a lumpy package with a big red "cone" sticking out of it...apparently pops ran out of wrapping paper, and I recognized that exposed tail right away! I still have him...his name in Dino :D

Yeah, I used to collect WWF figures too. Thats how I found out Santa wasn't real. When I was either 5 or 6, I got the WWF ring and two figures, Hulk Hogan and Jake Roberts for Christmas from Santa. Every year, my gift from Santa would always be unwrapped and assembled. Like when I got the Ghostbusters firehouse, it was all set up and waiting for me by the tree. The ring was the same way, with two wrestlers inside. The next day, I saw the box in my parents room, so I knew they had bought it for me.
That is freaking brilliant!! Thats easier than trying to carefully pull the corner off and take a peak.

I know some of you may not believe me, but I was never one to go looking for my presents. Okay, maybe I'm more like this :angel?: But still, I didn't look.
My sister? Not so nice? She was so bad, my mom was always trying to find hiding places, would even go so far as to take some presents back at the last minute, just to see- she caught my sister at least a couple times that way!
I remember when she and her ex-husband Joe came over to our house (back when I still lived with Mommy and Daddy) and no one was home. My mom kept all my sister's stuff in a closet that she had padlocked shut. Well, those little butt munches found a screw driver and took the freaking door off it's hinges! For crying out loud!
But, it sounds like a lot of you had an easier time finding the gifts! Kudos! :D

That reminds me of another time. Can't remember why, but something happened where my mom's trunk was open and I saw all these presents in there...including stuff for me! haha!

My best friend is like that. He said even as a kid he never had the desire to look and usually slept til around noon on Christmas. He says "I figure, the presents are already mine, so why put forth the effort of looking, i'll know eventually". Weirdo.
