Marita's XF Art
Woot Hey guys! Here is just some of my XF art. **Click on each thumbnail to view the pictures in full view** My Desktop: ++I made it from scratch using this picture: http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/8498/msjighe7.jpg +++It is fairly big so when you click on the thumbnail it will be scaled down. Click on the picture that appears to see it at its real size, otherwise it will look distorted. Believe: X ++I don't really like this one because the Mulder that I used...his head was cut off in the screen capture...so it's flat on here :P The Truth Is Out There I Love Mulder Crying ((Club)) ++I made this for the ILMC club awhile back...visit our headquarters on the Random X-Files Talk thread!!! Secret Agent Man \\\\\\"You can get the next mutant.\\\\\\" Untitled ++Nothing special, just playing around. >>EPISODES<< I started this some time ago. I was hoping to do one for each episode...however that is a bit of an unrealistic dream since I don't have much time. Even getting just one season done would actually be okee -- but, alas, I only have done these nine episodes from Season Six. What am I doing > using one screencap ((preferably with M/S in it)) from each episode and doing little to it manipulative-wise, just changing colors, adding text, etc. They all pretty much follow that except for the Rain King one because I used two screen captures for it. Dreamland Dreamland II Milagro Monday ++Once I start making this again I will definitely redo this one because it looks a little bland :? Rain King ++The screen cap of the heart-shaped hail was pretty and I wanted to use it...but there were no people in the picture. Then I thought well the cap of Sheila kissing Mulder is funny but there isn't good space for the text...So I incorporated the two :D S.R. 819 ++For this one I had to use Skinner because the episode is a bit more about him than our favorite duo :) The UnNatural Agua Mala 1 Agua Mala 2 ++I have to choose between these. Field Trip ++If this looks all fuzzy and weird to you, it looks right. I was trying to go with a trippy feeling, I guess? But that I am looking at it after all this time, I hate it. I don't think it's right and I can think of better ways of going about this screen capture. So I will remake this too. It's gross. Don't even look at it. Thanks for taking the time to look Glomp I appreciate it. A few of these things are on my deviantART page so if you would like to look at them there to comment ((if you have a dA account)) or to see my other art, here's the link: http://marita-covarrubias.deviantart.com/ Much wuv.xoxo. **EDIT** 12.12.06 >> I forgot about this: ++My signature on Haven and the SciFi XF board +++Not the best thing ever, I just made it because I felt weird that everyone else had a picture and I didn't  ++++The pictures are from Season Five's The Pine Bluff Variant and the swirly part is black oil with the logo played at the beginning of FtF

No matter where you load them :) I've never used photoshop myself but it seems like it does the job :)

Raindrop_3143- 12-11-2006

I've never used photoshop myself but it seems like it does the job Photoshop is FAR superior to Jasc. I saw what you do with Jasc on a different thread and I would be excited to see what you could make out of CS2!

Marita, those were great. I like how just the simplest touches are just right. Great work and some of the ones you dislike or think you need to re-do are perfectly fine. It's the \"mistakes\" that help with learning, right? Too bad I see so many very talented ones out there that put my attempts to shame. :( Keep them coming, please. :)

Marita Covarrubias- 12-12-2006

Thank doritos! Hey guys -- I found another thing that's acceptable enough to post...so I added it to the bottom of the original post.

Kelly- 12-12-2006

The signature is lovely!!

doritos- 12-12-2006

I like that sig. That's not your best work? Are you kidding? I like the pics you chose, especially the Scully pic. I like the Mulder pic also, but Scully looks so pretty. :)

SecretAgentGirl- 12-12-2006

That pink sig is awesome. Want me to cross-stitch that? ;-)

prmc- 12-12-2006

I'm partial :P too the new pink one. Nice work :)

chika_lita- 12-12-2006

The pictures are from Season Six's The Pine Bluff Variant *cough* that's season 5 *cough* But that swirly pink picture is so supremely amazing! Explain what program you use again? I've always wanted some sort of paintshop thingy, and it's Christmas.
