I've been getting so much more done lately...
Now that I don't have to drop everything in the middle of the day to watch the X-Files episode that USED to be broadcast by The Sci-Fi Channel.... I'm thinking of writing my local congressman. So COME ON Sci-Fi!!! Let's get back with the program already. (No pun intended).

LOL, I've been going out more and getting more stuff done now that I don't spend every waking hour online like I did pre-IWTB waiting for news and pics.

What's up. :P Still, I think I liked it more when XF was leaving me with less time. Time to break out the dvd's again I guess. We Philes need our phixes.

Does anyone have local businesses who advertise during the X-Files with alien themed commercials? There's a furniture dealer in my area that always advertises during XF episodes. Their commercial features aliens flying around Earth, then landing at their furniture store to buy a couch. They leave their flying saucer parked outside, then two of them are seen carrying a couch up a ramp into their saucer. It's cheesy to be sure, but it's also cool to think that they're that into TXF. I've never seen one of their commercials run during any other show either.

I giggled.

That sounds like an awesome cheesy commercial though! I noticed that it wasn't on while I was flipping through channels today. So it's not coming back? That blows.

The last time I looked, I went through the online Sci-Fi Channel schedule about a month in advance and only saw listings for the 1:00 AM (CST) episodes. I had been hoping that TXF had just been put on hold until they finished showing all the Halloween movies during October, but I'm still now seeing no afternoon XF listings. On the brightside though, there is an all-day Mork and Mindy Marathon on November 28th. 1/2 hour episodes starting at 7:00 AM until 4:30 PM (CST), and an all-day Twilight Zone Marathon on December 31, but I have to admit that the Scariest Places on Earth Marathon on Christmas Eve seems a little out of place. :?

I will freak if they ever get rid of the TZ marathons in December in July.

I freaked when SciFi got rid of TXF marathon on Thanksgiving. Probably a good thing, though since I was the one cooking. Since I don't have cable anymore, I get alot done now. I practice my music more, the house is cleaner, etc. Definately less distractions.
