A Dolls House tickets will be available soon to see the masterpiece by Henrik Ibsen starring Gillian Anderson at the Donmar Warehouse. Directed by Bafta award winning Kfir Yefet, Ibsen’s 1879 classic is reworked by acclaimed writer Zinnie Harris, ensuring that these A Dolls House tickets will be some of the most sought after of the year.
Those lucky enough to pick up some A Dolls House tickets will be able to see the return of Gillian Anderson to the London stage. Anderson is perhaps best known to many as Scully from the hit television show, the X-Files, but A Dolls House tickets will show exactly why she’s so highly regarded as a theatre actress. Anderson has also starred in What The Night is For and The Swee-*test*-('") Thing in Baseball on the UK stage, as well as numerous television shows and films.
Ibsen’s A Dolls House tells the story of Nora, played by Anderson, and her husband Torvald. The play questions traditional notions of marriage and the roles men and women hold within, and outside of it, and consequently it retains considerable pertinence even today. A Dolls House was one of Ibsen’s most famous works and it continues to be widely read and studied, so you can expect Zinnie Harris’ version to be an exciting new adaptation.
Henrik Ibsen’s A Dolls House starring Gillian Anderson runs at the Donmar Warehouse in Spring 2009. A Dolls House tickets will be available soon so please check back for more information. Dates are yet to be confirmed.
