Yeah, it can actually happen frequently, a pregnant woman falling. When a woman is pregnant and especially as her shape changes, her whole sense of balance is distributed differently, which can cause frequent loss of balance. Also, sometimes some women can get light headed while pregnant, too, which can give the same effect of losing one's balance. When I was pregnant with my son, I would sometimes get a little light headed. I never did fall or lose my balance though, thankfully. But many women I know who've had children have told me their "falling" stories.

I was in state of shock when I read it some hours ago !!!!!!! THX God all is OK .....

ratgirl84- 09-25-2008

:o I'm glad she's ok!

I kinda wish there was a video of it! LOL! Sounds like everyone made a laugh about it and it was not as serious as it sounds.

kamisch42- 09-26-2008

 Yeah, it looks like everything was fine...so if that's the case, I almost kinda wished she'd fallen for us  You know...as long as she still refrained from getting hurt. Seriously though, I'm glad it was a harmless fall :giggle:

ratgirl84- 09-26-2008

Um, yeah, so long as she was completely ok, i'm with you on that K. Watching people fall is my favorite thing ever...

kamisch42- 09-26-2008

I still wish I could've been a toad in the grass when The Mermaid tripped and fell in the parkinglot last week  She's a very noisy person, and very top heavy...I imagine it was hillarious :giggle: And yes, she was okay too - though very upset by the cyclist that was behind her and instead of helping or asking if she was okay just glared at her, all pissed off that she fell in front of him while he was on his bike. Deck.

I hate when people can't be bothered to help someone. I mean, I giggle, but I always make sure they're ok, its just good manners. My mom tripped and fell down our stairs once and got skinned up really bad (we have those pebbly stone and metal steps outside), and this guy watched her fall and started walking towards her, but then just stepped over her and walked up the stairs. WTF?

kamisch42- 09-26-2008

Yeah, that's rude. I chuckle now, because it's all over & everyone's okay, but if I were actually a witness, first I would've been all, "Oh my goodness, are you okay?!?!?" And tried helping them up ("them" being anyone, all of the above, whoever). Afterward, when they say, "Yeah, I'm fine, just fell down there..." I would be happy to recount the story for them, full of "Oh my god you should've seen yourself" moments :giggle: I would've laughed at myself too...even when no one sees, I feel free to tell people about my bouts of klutziness...if I can get the story out while laughing :lmao: I laugh a lot...

Is it just me or does she do this sort of stuff a lot!? Its funny because she is OK but my goodness woman! She will need two new hips by the time her life is over.

Yeah...she's a klutz. I love it.
