Changes on the board
Admins please state your opinions as to how changes should be approached on this MB. Should we be able to make changes, ie. adding forums, changing names, deleting threads and such and such without asking each other first? What should be free to change and what shoud not? My personal take on it is as follows 1)Majority rule (3 out of 5 min) for the following -Names of forums, -Adding or deleting forums, -deleting ANY user account even if it is not active, -deleting threads. 2)A single admin or Mods job... (If admin is not a Mod in that section I think it is fair to ask the Mods opinion before makeing changes) -Shorten lengthy strings of emoticons and letters that change the format of the page (add a space) -Move threads to the correct folder (leave notice) -Unstick and stick threads as posters request or you decide is fair (these sections and their organization really are the Mods jobs not admin. We need to let them have their sections) -Make announcement concerning rules or changes in the section Let me have your opinions people! Love you all! :D

Im assuming this is implied by the first one under 2...but please any admin who sees a apde that the post are leaking out in table cells of the whole page because someone put a <:/quote> before a <>(without colon of course). Because man that bugs...and i dont think an admin needs permission to fix that.

Mtaco- 06-19-2007

Ohhhh, is that how that happens? I always thought it was because people quoted the signatures as well er sumthing. I learned something new today.

You assume correctly Kam. If we can change something like that without altering content then I feel fine about that. We are not about censorship however so content needs to be discussed over a PM ALWAYS

kamballz- 06-19-2007

you always have to open tags before closing...otherwise funky stuff starts to happen.

kamballz- 06-19-2007

oh yea, i figured no one would mess with content...just little formatting errors

Scully0223- 06-20-2007

Yeah i'm with rain, stick to editing posts for little stuff like fixing urls and quaote etc but for the other stuff we need to ask at least the mod of the board. A lot of stuff has been changed recently without anyone knowing and i think its annoyed people a bit just cos they didn't know anything about it. At least if the mod agrees should be cool.

Muldernscully- 06-20-2007

All right. No more changes. I promise.

Raindrop_3143- 06-20-2007

And this isn't editing content? I will refrain from saying what the title of this thread really should be.

Muldernscully- 06-20-2007

I edited that BEFORE I made that promise. I'm on my best behavior now, Linds. It took awhile to get it through my thick skull, but it finally did. No worries!

OK *calms down* I really didn't want to fight. I have lost enough friends this week.

kamballz- 06-21-2007
